Work

During my time at my last job, there were only two black women there, which included myself. Everyday I would go in to work and staff members would ‘mistake me’ for the other black woman and call me by her name. They would say they thought that we looked similar.
We look completely different. We are different skin tones, a different height and size, our hair styles are different and our facial features are not even similar. I would find myself correcting the same people everyday.
